About CIMZIA
CIMZIA is used to lessen the signs and symptoms of moderately to severely active
Crohn's disease in adults who have not been helped enough by usual treatments.
CIMZIA may help give you control over your Crohn's disease symptoms
Some people taking CIMZIA had lessened symptoms, such as stomach pain and diarrhea.
In clinical trials, these improvements were seen in some people regardless of how
long they had Crohn's disease and regardless of what other Crohn's medications they
may have taken in the past.
You may find that your experience with CIMZIA is similar to that of people in
clinical trials.
CIMZIA provides rapid and long-lasting symptom relief
For some people in clinical trials, the benefits of CIMZIA were felt within a few
short weeks. For many of them, this control of their Crohn's signs and symptoms
lasted for up to 18 months when CIMZIA was taken continuously.
CIMZIA has a low rate of injection site reactions
In pivotal clinical trials CIMZIA had a low rate of injection site pain with less than 1% of patients experiencing stinging and burning. Allergic reactions in patients taking CIMZIA
in clinical trials were rare. For complete information about the side effects of

Serious infections have happened in patients taking CIMZIA, including tuberculosis (TB)
and infections caused by viruses, fungi, or bacteria that have spread throughout the body.
Some patients have died from these infections.
