Extensive clinical trials enrolled more than 2500 Crohn's patients across disease states¹

CIMZIA has been the subject of a comprehensive clinical program that includes two phase 3 studies:
PRECiSE 1 and PRECiSE 2. The PRECiSE clinical trials were both double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trials that enrolled a total of more than 1000 adults with active moderate to severe Crohn's disease.¹ Patients who successfully completed the PRECiSE 1 or PRECiSE 2 studies could enter PRECiSE 3, an ongoing, open-label extension study.^2-5

Indication
CIMZIA is indicated for reducing signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease and maintaining clinical response in adult patients with moderately to severely active disease who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy.

Important Safety Information
Serious and sometimes fatal side effects have been reported with CIMZIA, including tuberculosis (TB), bacterial sepsis, invasive fungal infections (such as histoplasomsis), and infections due to other opportunistic pathogens (such as Legionella or Listeria). Patients should be closely monitored for the signs and symptoms of infection during and after treatment with CIMZIA. Lymphoma and other malignancies also have been reported in children and adolescents. CIMZIA is not indicated for use in pediatric patients.
