Safety Information

The safety of CIMZIA in Crohn’s disease has been assessed in randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind, and open-label extension studies lasting from 26 weeks to 4 years. In those studies1,2:

  • 8% of patients discontinued therapy due to adverse events in clinical trials (vs 7% for placebo)
  • There was a low incidence of injection site burning and stinging

CIMZIA is indicated for reducing signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease and maintaining clinical response in adult patients with moderately to severely active disease who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy.
