Disease Severity

Generally, the management of Crohn's Disease (CD) is based on the location and severity of the disease and its complications.1 There is no established checklist for determining the severity of CD, but classifications of disease severity as determined by the American College of Gastroenterology may help guide physicians in choosing various medical treatments.1

CIMZIA is indicated for reducing signs and symptoms of Crohn's disease and maintaining clinical response in adult patients with moderately to severely active disease who have had an inadequate response to conventional therapy.
