Not All Household Products Are Created Equal
For most people, any potato peeler will do. But when you have arthritis, it’s a different story. You want products that are made with your needs and challenges in mind.
This insight was what inspired Sam Farber to found OXO. Sam had recently retired as founder of a successful housewares company. His wife, Betsey, had arthritis in her hands.
When he noticed her difficulty in gripping ordinary kitchen tools, he saw an opportunity to help not only people with arthritis, but also to create more comfortable kitchen tools for everyone.
